Westbank Summer Camp Sessions
Session 1: Chemistry & Environmental Science
- Ages: 3rd – 8th Grade
- Dates: June 2 – June 5 | Mon-Thurs 9am-3pm
- Registration: $25 per session | Camp Fee $0
- Location: Westbank of New Orleans
- Description:During this session, Kids will get hands on with reactions by creating chemical reactions and learning the difference between endothermic and exothermic reactions. Kids will also get hands-on with the environment and how to make things grow and keep the earth green. They will go through multiple hands-on activities that will apply to the week’s topic and use what they learn to compete in competitions.
Session 2: Math & Structures
- Ages: 3rd – 8th Grade
- Dates: June 9 – June 12 | Mon-Thurs 9am-3pm
- Registration: $25 per session | Camp Fee $0
- Location: Westbank of New Orleans
- Description: During this session, kids will engage in hands-on activities designed to teach what it takes to create structurally sound building designs that can be replicated in the real world. Kids will identify the different parts of a working structure and understand why each is important. They will go through multiple hands-on activities that will apply to the week’s topic and use what they learn to compete in competitions.
Session 3: Friction Force & Motion
- Ages: 3rd – 8th Grade
- Dates: July 16 – July 18 | Mon-Wed 9am-3pm
- Registration: $25 per session | Camp Fee $0
- Location: Westbank of New Orleans
- Description: During this session, kids will explore the physics behind force and motion and principles of physics. Kids will discover the principles of force and motion through the exploration of Newton’s three laws and the six different types of forces. They will go through multiple hands-on activities that will apply to the weeks topic and use what they learn to compete in competitions.
Session 4: Circuits & Technology
- Ages: 3rd – 8th Grade
- Dates: June 23 – June 26 | Mon-Thurs 9am-3pm
- Registration: $25 per session | Camp Fee $0
- Location: Westbank of New Orleans
- Description: During this session, kids will learn more about how electricity flows and connect how circuits are used in everyday life through robotics and technology. They will go through multiple hands-on activities that will apply to the week’s topic and use what they learn to compete in competitions.

Camp Cost
- $25 Registration Fee + $0 Camp Fee = $25 per week per Child
How to Register and Pay:
- You must add enough credits to your registration account in order to pay the registration fee and register for the camp. To add credits please hit the account button>add credit button>add the amount of credits needed>enter payment information and pay. After paying, then you can come back and register for the camps.
- You will register for each week separately.
- Only Pay the Registration Fee in the portal.
- Registration Fee is refundable for those students who qualify for scholarship and who attend the entire week of camp.
