Operational Intern (Part-Time)
Job Description: STEM NOLA is seeking a dynamic, high-energy intern to operate in a fast-paced environment to produce hands-on STEM kits for K-12 students. This part-time position operates between 9am and 5pm Monday through Friday and Saturday mornings. Our interns will work with STEM NOLA administrators to prepare, assemble, package, distribute, and ship STEM kits to participants around the country. Interns will also implement and facilitate the STEM kits with small groups of K-12 students for both in-person and virtual programming. The ideal candidate will have an educational background, a love for science and technology and a great desire to help educate our youth in STEM related fields and careers.
Seasonal Interns (Part-Time)
Job Description: STEM NOLA is seeking a dynamic, high-energy intern to learn and develop skills for educating and coaching children ages seven and above in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) principles and concepts. This part-time position mostly works in the afternoons and evenings Monday through Friday and Saturday mornings. Our interns will work with our instructors to enable students to learn and understand core STEM principles while helping them to assemble hands-on activities both in-person and via digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have an educational background, a love for science and technology and a great desire to help educate our youth in STEM related fields and careers.
College Volunteers
We welcome enthusiastic and committed college students who are interested in contributing to our programs and events.
Volunteering with STEM NOLA is a great way to help and give back to your community. It’s also a great way to gain practical experience in the area of STEM Education.
College students engage in vertical mentoring working alongside STEM professionals.
Note: We require 100% reliability. Perfect attendance with ZERO late shows is required. Extensive background checks will be conducted. Mandatory training is provided immediately upon background clearance and start of employment.
