STEM Saturday - Mardi Gras: The Art of STEM

K-12 Students will work with College Students and STEM professionals to perform activities related to STEM which now serves as the foundation of Mardi Gras. The kids will learn about circuits, and Electroluminescence (EL). Student will build remote control floats and decorate the miniature floats with LED and EL lights, plastic building blocks, action figures, toy cars, small plastic dolls and other plastic, metal or glass items. Every kid will build a unique float from their imagination and creativity. Mardi Gras has become an amazing example of the integration Art and STEM!
